What % of offshore gamblers....

have just one account, bet when they have the urge, just don't take this whole gambling thing very serious. Kind of curious to see if we are in the minority.

I am exactly like that for the most part and YES we are in the minority Ice

at least on this site IMO, you have many many people that scalp 24/7 and play 129 plays a day trying to make 5$ profit in the end.

I know someone who has had accounts, makes a play rarely....like on the superbowl im sure he will...will probably withdraw if he wins...he would have no idea if a line was good compared to the market.

no dante that is not me. What I meant was "we" in the minority meaning line shoppers, multipile accounts and think things thru (most on this forum, I think), that is me

I myself have only one offshore account at that being at CRIS. Usually keep 10-12 locals on speed dial. Always beat the number at the local shops and use the offshore for middles and early plays

I have 2-3 locals that I use but they seem to be on to me. Trying to throw a few curve balls and betting games that don't move. I think the key is to bet on the spot with screen in front of you because if you tell them you will call them back they become suspicious.

Simply a guess, but I would think the majority of those gambling offshore only have one account but the majority of RX members, posters and viewers have more then one account.

During baseball have my local plus keep at least two books funded. Getting the best number is so important in this sport.

After baseball during Football and hoops I just use my local. I love dealing in all cash. I find that the number is always pretty close. I buy off the hook on all basketball games anyway. I know I miss out on maybe 1 or 2 games because of a bad line during this period but it is worth it to me. On the other side I get a good line with a local once in a while that makes up for it.

ditto. sometimes i don't even look at the board for weeks and just w/d funds. Sometime later I always get the urge though and make a small deposit. This is just how it is with me. I could not gamble 7 days a week, I wouldn't know how. Have never had a losing year doing this.

Agree 100% as the cash is the only way to fly. ANY other form Always leaves paper trail that you might have to answer to, or for someday.

That's nice you have locals to beat, but if you're middling with only cris you are usually not getitng the best on that side.

I agree with Ted on this. I'm sure the 30 or so books that pimp on the RX would like to believe this as well.

You very well could be correct. But in this case its through an agent and i am not bothered with always running to the Western Union or Any other places that leaves that dreaded paper trail. I learned long ago that sometimes i have to take sliighty the worst of things in that department but its worth it to me to Only deal in cash. Sometimes take leads there at Cris and hope the Locals are slow as they usually are with things.

I started with 1, then noticed there were differences as to how early the lines came out and that some tend to run high or low on a given event. So I've moved the funds several times. I probably have 6 now, with money in 2 or 3 at any one time.

I have definitely had over 300 different funded accounts over the years. And that is conservative.

Back in the prime of the offshore gambling i was running minimum of 10 accounts. And each “account” had 10-15 books going at once. So roughly 100-150 going at a given time. Those were the days. 10-30k a month you could take down.
