How much interest would there be for a room for non sports related discussions? Kind of a catch all for funny\shocking\dumb news articles that you find and pretty much anything else that doesn't really fit anywhere else. Basically an "off topic" room.

Thoughts?

He's right. Didn't they try something like that a few years back and everyone wouldn't leave here.

I like the fact that everyone can post anything in the offshore online sportsbooks area. It might now be a bad idea to list general discussion next to it in ( ) just a thought. The offshore may get even more traffic if you were to decide to do this because the newcommers would know about it.

I dont like that for 2 main reasons.

1) people are discouraged from posting OT topics in offshore because they know the thread may get moved or people may get irritated with the OT threads.

2) those same people dont bother posting in the HEALTH or FITNESS or ENTERTAINMENT forum, because they know that they may not get many responses there & are discouraged by the lack of activity in those forums.

SOLUTION:

you have one 'catch all' forum for OFF TOPIC stuff..... this forum could be located directly bellow the current OFFSHORE forum..... & eliminate some of the less busy forums at the bottom......

that is My Opinion, for what it is worth
