Is there any more knowledgeable color commentator out there than Hubie Brown? I find it so enjoyable to listen to his insights and knowledge of the game.

Best in the biz. He used to make regular appearances on the sports shows in Chicago. He has some great stories.

Stu Lantz - but those outside the L.A. area or never see Lakers game have no clue who he is

I also find Doug Collins VERY informative

Doug Collins is pretty good too. I have too many bad memories of him coaching the Wiz though and him trying to get in MJ's pants.

The thing about Doug Collins is that sometimes he sounds like a handicapper when he does his projections of where teams are at and going. In the mid 90's
when he would do the playoffs you could not tell us he was not betting these games he was so damn sharp.
