How much is a half point worth on first half/ halftimes in hoops?

totals and sides. Been trying to catch a few middles on them (hard) and have my own idea what they are but would like to know what others "general" rule is

I estimate about 12 cents on a side. I'll definetly buy it for 10 cents, good question. For H2 I'd take +7.5 -120 over +7 -110 ( side) a total should be worth less. I don't play H2 under any more, I play Q3 and/ or Q4 under instead.

It's agreed the half point is worth about 7 cents on full game, so I don't think you can go wrong paying 10 cents for it on a half-game ( line shopping, not buying).

So a 1 point middle of -5.5 (-110) and +6.5 (-110) is a break even play. I have also been using 10c a side and 7.5c for a half point on totals, but like I said I have no data or proof to support this. Wondering what others have to say.

I doubt you'd lose playing that. I don't try to middle H2, the lines move too fast, I just try for best price, often Pinny has -115 on the side you want, and you can get it for -105 at Trojan, or -110 about anywhere. Moves are just too fast for me to try for middles.

The number of 3, on or off has more value in the total game side IMO.
I know a "sharpie" when takeing +3 in baskets always buys a half point to +3.5. He says that is the most imortant buy number there is?

He's wrong, 3 is not the best number is college or pro.

I almost never buy any half in any sport.

Well i really dont know about that in basetball at all, but i knew that he was very succesful at getting stuff to fall on 3 there one season for sure.

Ummm.....yeah, 3 will fall...but other numbers fall more. 3 is better compared to other in college than in pro though.
