They all look pretty worn out which I guess is as it should be considering the lives they have led.. Keith Richard looks a bit better than Mick IMO..

Saw them for the opening of their current tour at Fenway. When in with very low expectations and was surprised at how well they played.

only a few rockers left like them that are old enough to be my dad, and can actually make me feel young.

I hardly ever pay attention to the halftime show. It's a good time to go grab more to eat since it takes forever now (30 minutes!). I have almost no interest in watching the Rolling Stones at halftime

No THIS would have been the time to see these guys, in their prime with the songs like Wild Horses being new...wow, i would have given anything to have seen them at Altamont in 69

My fave was the beavis and Butthead special MTV used to do, complete with counter to get back to the game at time.

I've seen the Stones twice, in Cedar Falls, Iowa in 1982 and in Ames, Iowa in 1991. But I have really no desire to watch the half-time of the Super Bowl. And by the way, what ever happen to the BUD-BOWL?

I got a 7th row ticket 10 years ago in the kingdome. It was fantastic. Looking forward to this show at halftime. Great hits

Altamont? No thanks. If Mr. Peabody is cranking the wayback machine, I would head to the same tour but at Madison Square Gardens.

1965 Ed Sullivan Theatre..NYC

I went to the Ed Sullivan show with my friend and his parents in 1965..I was 13....Guess whos on stage...Topo Gigio.Italian Mouse....I heard that a rock and roll band was scheduled to be on the show..which was taped....turns out to be the Rolling Stones....they did Paint it Black...kinda weird as I was 13 ..didnt know what the hell to make of it ..these girls were going freagin nuts next to me..and one knocked my bag of candy to the floor and that ruined the whole show for me.....Walked away in confusion as to what the hell went on.......really didnot understand the whole deal for about 5 years or so.....I couldnt figure out the name for one thing "Rolling Stones"'???? WHF??? To be honest I liked Topo Gigio better.....Go figure....

[SIZE=+.75]In 1969 at age 26, Mick Jagger, lead singer of the Rolling Stones rock and roll band said:
"When I'm 33, I quit. That's the time when a man has to do something else. I don't want to be a rock and roll singer all my life."

What a drag it is getting old
"I'd rather be dead than singing 'Satisfaction' when I'm 45." - Mick Jagger, 1970

"When I first met John Lee Hooker, he was only like 39, but I thought he was so old that I really felt sorry for him. I thought, 'Somebody must be forcing him to do this. ... It's really unfair he has to keep performing at that age.' "
Mick Jagger, 1997

2006 Super Bowl XL Half time show. 'Satisfaction' is on the play list. Turns 63 in July. :suomi:
