"The account holder was not the only person to have access to this account. Royal is showing two IPs in their logs that are from the same general location. The player was honest, saying that he did play from a friend's home earlier and the friend has also logged on. I wanted to get the IPs from Royal before they became aware of this detail, looking to see if one of the IPs showed as being from a foreign location and we could ask the session to be investigated further.

Account security is very important and more so right now, in large part due to the Sportingbet issue. Since this is currently a high profile problem, books are likely to get more players who claim their account was hacked when it wasn't, and books who see accounts accessed from multiple locations could use this info to suggest an account breach is the fault of the player when it wasn't.

Anyone who holds a significant balance should use only one location to wager. If you bet sports away from home, call in your plays.

Royal suggested they can work out something with the player. Hopefully he will update us. This might have to end with both parties giving the other the benefit of the doubt."

I have a question about the above post. Just because someone uses 2 different IPs, does not mean that multiple people are using the account. I use computers from all over the place to place wagers. The folks at THERX can attest to the fact that I have logged in to this site from at least 6 or 7 places.

This is a pretty lame excuse Royal is using. If every sportsbook used this excuse, no one would ever get paid.

It's either the guy is owed his money or he isn't. Why would they want to "work something out."

My 2 cents..

I don't believe that working somthing out with the player incriminates Royal. Perhaps they have some empathy with the player's situation and wish to help him recover from what looks like a friend draining his account without permission.

They should show empathy to all the players they are slow paying right now. Besides, you think Tej would feel sorry for anyone after stiffing so many players in the last 5 years?

I came back for one game action today and after my win was paid my entire cashout in 5 minutes via my neteller account. Now that's service. Gotta give Bodog props there.

"work something out"

Why would would a crooked sportsbook like Royal say something like that after saying the IP matches this guys computer?

Another stall pay by Royal reported at SBR. During the stall Royal tells customer that Neteller is dry due to all the WD requests. If its dry days before the super bowl, whats it going to be like after the super bowl?

Just for the record the player involved has admitted by live chat that there was a secruity flaw on his part and he allowed his friend to have access to his Royal account. The friend was told by the player not to use the account without permission but apparently he did not listen. I recieved a copy of the chat from Richard at Royal by email.

Truthteller and Chuck can turn this into something else but the truth about this specific case is the player compromised his own account secruity and has freely admitted it.

I'm simply putting forth the facts about this case as they have been presented to me by Royal. I have not had any contact with the player as he has not posted here at The Rx...

Get In, Get Out! That's the way I see it.

If your playing with a large bankroll, you should know where to play and not play. It doesnt take a sharp to figure that out.

Best of luck getting your money. :pope:
