Hines Ward? I would've given it to Willie Parker. He's the only one that earned his score without the help of the refs.

Randel El would be the guy for me, the TD pass...nice Punt return and a monster 3rd down conversion with like 4 mins to go.

That's the thing, you can't take away the 75 yard run. He earned it, it was a clean play and he stood out with that play to me.

Rothlis. should have gotten MVP -- all his runs were key plays it seemed. I'm saying this even though I had Randall-El at 30 - 1 for game mvp --grrrrrr on top of that I had Parker for 1st TD scorer gggggrrrrrrrrrrr - thats like 9 or 10 times this year I pick the 1st TD scorer and he is the second one to score, it's like clockwork I tell ya!!!

Do you think Big Ben would have got MVP but for giving the ball away and the final "gadget-play" TD caught by Ward?

Big Ben would have got it had it not been for two interceptions and no TD passes. Can't give it to a QB with no TD passes.

And most people agree with me - no one person on the Steelers deserved MVP. Hines Ward deserved it as much as anyone else. Why not give it to someone from the defense? Besides the refs, holding Seattle to 10 was what won them that game.

How can Ben get the MVP when his passer rating was the lowest for any playoff team (not just SB) winning QB EVER (22.something)? They won DESPITE him, certainly not BECAUSE of him. He had basically one noteworthy play, which was really just thrown up for grabs and Ward made the play happen. Otherwise, numerous poor throws and bad decisions.

Put simply, he might have a ring, but he still sucked yesterday. He just didn't look good.

First SB winner ever for a team with more turnovers and fewer yards. And they won by 11. Wonder how that can happen.

But he did run in a TD himself, even if it shouldn't have counted. I think he was mistreated by the stats. Surely you can't run up big numbers unless the opposing defence allows it?

Let's face it, even Tommy Maddox would have been able to beat the Seahawks yesterday. Big Ben had about as much to do with the win as Trent Dilfer did when the Ravens won it against the Giants.
