Usually when I am forced to give out a phone number I put in a fake one. One exception was for neteller. I have since changed my number so I know the tout phone calls are not coming from the number I gave to them.

I checked all my personal info given to the sportsbooks where I have an account. I found only one where I put in my real phone number by mistake so it must be that book that is giving out our phone numbers.

I will give out the name of that book after other people have posted here about their experiences of getting tout calls on their phones. Anyone else?

I just thought it was a coincidence that I gave my real number to a sportsbook and now I'm getting tout calls. I haven't received calls from any other business other than touts.

So you are saying Pinnacle is responsible?

It's the only web site so far that I've found that had my real phone number. This includes all other web sites that I register outside of sports books.

QL, I gave your # to every woman at the Del Rey.

Dammit! I had a hard enough time trying to get out of there without having my clothes torn off. It took me 45 minutes to leave.

90% of the time, the book has nothing to do with it---it's usually former clerks who take them & sell them.

Thanks TT, you could be right. It's the same way with credit card numbers.

If it's the same Jack, it's USsportsbook.com, I did one of those $100 deals there, but Jack from Richcoast called me before I ever heard of the place, don't know how he good #. They ( both RCS and USsports) were fine with me requesting no calls, sent apology e-mail.

I' ve only gotten about 3 calls in last couple of years, I don't care if they mail or e-mail stuff.

Funny that you started this thread. I just got my first ever tout call last night at about 6:30 PM EST for the Duke-UNC game. No caller ID information, nor did I stick around to listen to the recording. Just something about pressing 1 to get connected to whatever boiler room was selling this pick.
