For me, it is before. After i pull the trigger I ususally have no regrets (90% of time).

if you are nervous at any time , you are wagering more than you should be..

Depends on the amount and if I have been winning lately or not....If I have not been doing well I get nervous, otherwise I don't.

more nervous doen't mean you are betting to muchor that you're altogether nervous. Just wondering what makes you more excitied/anxious/nervous/emotional.

the only emotion i usually feel right before pulling the trigger is one where i'm hopeful that i worked hard enough to come to the conclusion i did.

i ask myself " is the best move to make tonight "

Heh. Never nervous Pervis.

For me it's definatly AFTER. Before there just a lot of excitement and should I do this or not.

But after you place that bet, that money is gone and might still be gone after the game is over too.

the only time i get nervous is if, after i place the bet, i find out the refs are on the take. then, after i lose my money, i post about it for two days and call the dan patrick show.

NEVER nervous. Sometimes curious. Instead of being nervous, go and cap tommorow's games IceMan.

The other day, I took Detroit -5 vs. NJ for a LARGE amount and was going to scalp/middle.

The line went to -6, -6.5 and eventually even touched 7 in places. I knew I had to pull the trigger, but just didn't know WHEN.

Should I wait for 7.5?

How long should I wait?

Should I wait until right before tip-off?

Should I scalp it for 80% and middle 20%? or 50-50?

Which book should I use?

Do I want to win a NJ bet at a C-rated book just because they have the best price?

Will I have time to make a Neteller deposit there?

I would see a small move in some places and I would start getting nervous that there was some buy back coming.
