6th seed vs 1st seed

steelers and their kid QB play their D game, kid plays his worst game in the NFL and steelers still won by 10+!

The SeaFrauds never went that far when they were in the AFC!

The real super bowl was Pitt at Indy game!

But I know NE was better than Indy!

So how bad is the NFC??

What kind of jackass logic is this?

The entire NFC is crap because the Hawks were cheated out of a title against the #6 AFC seed?

Clearly, you must believe that the AFC 1-5 seeds are frauds since they were out done by a #6.

This has to be one of the all time most idiotic posts that I've ever read.

Thanks for saving me the time. I was about to post the same thing.

.

You dont understand the rules :lolBIG:

Steelers Coach Bill Cowher did a series of day-after-the-game interviews, he was asked at one point about the officiating Sunday and said: "All I can say is: 21-10."

Time to blow this one wide open.

The pictures speak for themselves, I think.

Haggans has won the outside lane and beaten his man- you can see the O-lineman's hand about to grab Haggans' jersey in the right shoulder pad area.

This is from a few frames later, after Haggans' jersey has been grabbed from behind, (notice how it's stretched back).

Here's the same action from the normal TV angle...

And here's your hook from behind...

IMG_0221.jpg

This is a classic hold. Haggans beat his man off the ball, and then got grabbed, then hooked from behind on his way to the QB. The hold happened right in front of the QB- no ref is ever going to miss this call. Anyone calling this a "Phantom" hold needs to start watching a lot more football.

Holding Rule defined
Hand(s) or arm(s) that encircle a defender—i.e., hook an opponent—are to be considered illegal and officials are to call a foul for holding.
NFL Rule Book

Lockyear clearly hooks Haggans. Good call.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

OK, put aside the fact that regardless what you say, you cannot change the perception of non steeler/hawks fans. the media, etc, seeing that there was some very questionable calls in SB. All that aside the assertion that the AFC is really that much better than the NFC is assinine, worse that you believe the Seahawks would be the ninth best team in the AFC...

I dont know
my power rating has Pitt -7, Seattle was not good enough.
VERY SOFT SCHEDULE = OVERRATED

- Seahawks regular season opponents a combinded record of 110-156.

- Seahawks (13-3) with 8 wins at home. They beat

Atlanta 8-8
Arizona twice 5-11
Houston 2-14
Dallas 9-7
St. Louis twice 6-10
San Francisco twice 4-12
New York Giants 11-5
Philadelphia 6-10
Tennesee 4-12
Indianapolis (minus most of their starters) 14-2

- Major road wins over powerhouses St. Louis, Arizona, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Tennesee

- They lost the following games all on the road to

Jacksonville 12-4
Washington 10-6
Green Bay 4-12 (Game was meaningless)

You Steeler fans need to stop crying about not getting respect. We don't aknowledge this game , nothing is going to change in our view and our minds, so get over it, go celebrate your tainted game. I don't recognize this game, never will, just like Duke 15 years ago,so please get over it, stop crying, and try and earn your respect next year :cryingcry

I'm over this game I've moved on, problem is I know Pitt isn't getting any props so your pissed and whining about it.Face the facts your just not going to get props from this fiasco so stop crying and move on. You need to deal with this, go get some therapy or get back into your mines and get back to work:nopityA:
