Why of all the songs he could have played he chooses 'Helter Skelter'

Would have preferred 'Band on the run' personally.

I think Paul's performance was a little better than the Stones :suomi: , beat them by a hair :suomi: , a gray hair :grandmais

paul didnt have to say a word and his performance would have been better.

i think we'll be talking about Coldplay as the best band in the world in about 5 years..

helter skelter was GREAT tonight(you have to over 45)

No you don't.

I'm 35 and have never seen the appeal of The Beatles or Sir Paul. And I've always thought of U2 as nothing more than a rip-off of The Alarm. (And Coldplay as a poor mans U2)

That being said.....I've always loved U2's Rattle & Hum era version of Helter Skelter.

But PM just stole the show with that. I'd rather see a 'geriatric' blow the roof off with a song like that than have to witness Mary J Blige massacre 'One' anyday.

I actually liked that Paul played Helter Skelter. Made famous by John, it was written by Paul. One of his cooler songs, said to be one of the first 'heavy metal' songs, along with steppenwolf.

By the way, U2 and guest (don't know who) did an AWESOME version of One. :103631605
