Best story ever though about the gamblers was the one Mike Sexton told me years ago and then I think he wrote about it in his past column. He said Doyle and some others told Stu Ungar that poker was just a warm-up, the real money and action were out on the golf course. Stuey couldn't refuse anything that had betting with it so he went out to the course with the boys. Stuey had never picked up a club in his life, but that didn't stop him from betting it up. He was stuck five figures just on the practice putting green! He tried chasing out on the course, but part of the problem was he figured he was left-handed, but no one had lefty clubs. Stuey's first trip to the golf course cost him something like $200k, but it didn't phase him a bit. He never got to be even a decent golfer, but he still would go out to the course just to gamble with the boys.
