This is bound to be an incendiary topic, but with spring training right around the corner, it's a good time of year to argue about players. The point is to discuss which players are vastly overrated in the league. Do not come in here and say "A-Rod is overrated cause he's gay." Please have some type of evidence to back up your points.

Eric Hinske - His only good year was 2002, and for that reason, and that reason only, he still has a starting job. He has accomplished NOTHING since then. If you ever catch a Blue Jay game and they are trying to do a late game rally, Hinske will ground out into a double or triple play. Honorable mention goes to David Eckstein and Carl Pavano.

he is living on the fame of 2 games...the 20 strikeout game in 1998 and the shutout in the 2003 playoff game against atlanta. he is an injury prone bust with a .500 carreer record.

carlos zambrano is much, much better.

As a Jays fan, I totallly agree with Hinske... although I would almost say he's not overrated because everyone that follows them knows he's bad anyways...lol.. he is living off of that one good season.. He won't see much playing time this year after the trades for Glaus and Overbay, they also re-signed their best hitter last year Shea Hillenbrand the other day, who will play some dh and rotate between 1st and 3rd.. The more Hinske stays on the bench, the better news it is for Jays fans..

A-Rod is overrated because he's gay. Derek Jeter is overrated because he's his gay partner.
