Are there any Sports athletes or broadcasters that post at THERX?

With this hockey ordeal and Brent Mussburger and Al Micheals always talking about the spread it makes you wonder.

Which one of you guys is Pete Rose or Micheal Jordan? I bet the odds of Pete Rose at least lurking at this site at least once are -500. I would bet that in a heartbeat. I can just picture Al Micheals logging onto THERX next to John Madden right before the game to get ACE-ACE take on the game. It has to happen.

i was on the dan patrick radio show for 11 seconds on tuesday. i also play golf and pick-up basketball around the neighborhood. i used to be in a softball league but, i quit a couple years ago because they got these purple jerseys instead of the gray ones...its a long story.

Shot craps with Al Micheals at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1990 in the middle of the night and we talked for 45 minutes about sports gambling. He told me that he lived in LA and player there as well. Nuff Siad !

NO not bad to shoot craps left handed !!! Just thought it was strange as there are very very few left handed poeple vs right handed people. the ratio might be as high as 10-1 maybe even much higher. Would you have thought that guy was left handed?

Contrary to what most of you believe i believe that AL Michaels and Mussburger hardly even wager on sports. They are just the type of guys that know the line of a game by looking in the newspaper the morning before the game. Maybe these guys have placed bets before when going to Vegas but i just think these guys get the lines from the newspaper and make their square comments over the air. If they do however bet i would love to book their square action!!! So many squares in this world so little time!!!!!

friday he talked about legalizing sports gambling in the first hour and i was the first caller in the last segment of that first hour - around 45 minutes into the show - and i was on for about 30-ish seconds

Mussberger has moved to Vegas and mentions the Station casinos from time to time in some interviews, assuming that the forum is one that wouldn't crucify him for talking about gambling. I thought that he may have even done a radio show from one of them.
