Cell phone question

I know I'm a dinosaur, but I know next to nothing about cell phones. As I understand it, you can surf the net on a cell phone. How does that work?

I would like to get a cell phone if I can log into on-line accounts and make bets sometimes. Is that possible? thanks

Kinda...

but NOT in the Doak. It takes almost the entire halftime to get into pinnacle on my sprint phone!

The Treo 700 is supposed to be the best thing out there. You might be able to get a Treo 650 fairly inexpensively. I use the 650 and love it. In fact, I'm using it right now to post this.

T-mobile Sidekick 2

Takes me about 2 min to complete a stright play on 5dimes.
Can set the phone down for up to an hour and I can refresh the lines page w/ out having to put in my ID or PW. Can also be taking on the phone and making a wager online...love that feature.

Also the cost for the data service is $20.00 per month and its unlimited and does not count againts my minutes that I have for my phone.

Only cost me $89.00 when I upgraded to a 2 year contract

Do a search on the RX for "treo 650" or "sidekick".

There was a thread going around a couple of weeks ago where there were several phones and access options discussed.
