I Bet Soccer Now And Than....and Made A Bet With Someone In Canada.... He Pay Me By Check In A Envelope Inside The Ups Envelope....both Open...and On The Outside Envelope It Said
" Cleared By Costoms At S.d.f....."

Do You Think I'm On A List (this Has Happen 2 Time In The Last Year)
Is This Reported Some Where?

Is It Better To Wire Money To Your Bank Vs Mail Check?

Any Help Would Be Great.....

It's just a personal check right??

I dunno what kind of list you'd be on. Because if you're ever questioned you can just say you loaned a buddy some cash a while back...and he's cutting you a check to pay you back.

Honest to God, I was going to post the same thing to me. UPS ALWAYS opens my mail -- cut through the package & the envelope and re-tape.

I'm getting paranoid. :icon_conf

Maybe the question is -- does EVERY UPS envelope get opened?

Is this related to those mysterious military grade antrax scares that were not the military (anyone want a bridge?) and mysteriously disappeared now?

Well, the past two summers I have worked for a supply company in the dept. that exclusively uses UPS to ship stuff out. Stuff always came in really scuffed up and most of the stuff we sent out was pretty scuffed up. We sent bags of food that usually came scuffed or crushed. I also have friends that work there and they tell me stuff is constantly thrown around like its nothing. I use DHL when possible now.

No worries I used to sell graded rookie cards, some hockey, and the small packages to Canada always needed a customs declaration and then a stamp at the border. No big deal but if there are many more to come than take another way.

doesn't matter Ace. Escpially if his business is from Canada.

You say 25 years ago your good friend needed a lot of cash. You had it and lent it to him. And he's been periodicly paying you back since.

As far as i know there is no way they can dispute it.

Or just switch to FedEx.

Either way i think there's a paper trail cause once you deposit the check its still on the books.

Amazing! In the 7 years that we were recieving cash payments from clients, that we never once had this happen and in fact we only had 2 packages "lost" and they were both in the same week and same city (LV), by what had to of been a driver who got lucky.
