I just bought the TREO700, my take so far

well, Ive only had it for 2 days, I had a few probs getting into Pinny, it took me just at 2 minutes to navigate in and Look at my bets pending,

(that took the page needing to update 3 seporate times.)

I havent placed a bet in it yet,,,

in navigating other sites it takes aobut 15 seconds to upload the page,,

anyway,,,,, I think it will get better with time,

(oh yes, this post I am putting up on my regular computer)

tate, ive got the 650, am able to make wagers with it relatively easily.

if its a speed issue, then its not the phone...its the network...

i can get an easy high speed connection with the 650 in Detroit...but its a totally different story 50 miles south in Toledo...

Speed is definately a function of signal strength. Still love the 650.

There are a handful of POKER websites that allow you to download a POKER application, which allows you to play POKER for money....

WWTS & CRIS aswell as others also offer downloadable applications that you can downlaod right ON TO the TREO for better navigating....

I still can't make bets on my 650 with Sprint. It continually says "you must make a selection". Everything else works well on here. CRIS betting application works faster than anything on these Treos though.

mr Smith,,, its not bad I think my package is something like 35 a month for unlimited online mins and 1250 talk mins,,,

the plans are all crazy I think I will be paying 130 a month for everything (inc. taxs)

$130??? I pay $46 plus taxes with Sprint for 400 mins and unlimited data with Vision for just $10 a month. I hear once they get the 700 and some other high end data devices they will go to an expensive package for data like the others. Vision is just a little slower than Verizon's data for $30 less a month.

One other thing. If you have a treo try out the nWeb browser from www.novarra.com. I had to get it for my Treo 300 and it sort of sucked, but it transferred over when I got my 650 and on the 650 this thing rocks. If you know your sites pretty well, like where to hit buttons and such, you can fly through webpages with nWeb and images off setting. It is many times quicker than the Blazer browser they include, especially for pages like the Rx with lots of graphics and colors.

sorry Mr smith,,,, I wasent claer,,, the PACKAGE they sell is one called "VERIZON PLUS MORE" or some stupid name like that,,,, my BASE phone plan with 1250 minutes Unlimited mins with Verizon units, thats 79.99 and the unlimited Internet, 20 photos, and 500 texts messages is the EXTRA 35$,

so my final monthly Bill is going to be 130ish Inc tax,,,

I downloaded mobitv for the 650. Awesome. ESPN on my phone plus about 30 more cable channels.
