Yeah you gotta do it early since it will be less likely someone in HR or your boss will notice you are taking off March Madness then take the days off for himself.

I don;t want to waste all my vacation time in March, so the week before i usually use sick days (get 15 days a year, use em or lose em too LOL) for the conference tournys...thursday and friday...Big East goes on Wednesday...but thats about it.
