i wonder if guys that have no self control can tell a book that i'm putting

1000 in and my maxium play can be 50... thoughts??????

i turn off all casino's but a 25 0r 50 limit on a 1000 play would help a lot
of people.....

please do not say just get control, this is a "gambling forum"!

One would think that the software would be able to handle that with ease. JMHO.
But there could a lot of "what if's" to that as well.

I'm not sure it would be in the book's best interest to do that if they did so. They make a lot of money off of people chasing.

What's to stop the person from making 5 $50 dollar bets. At what point do you really expect a book to babysit someone from losing self control.

i have several outs and had 387.00 in an account last night and bet it all!

Have had alot of discipline as of late and with a little liquor in me, this is what happened. Not all of us have control all the time.

BOY, ain't that the one truth!!! I have the same problem. I wager with pure control for 13 days and get stupid/greedy/giddy/buzzed/scared on the 14th and wipe out everything I've worked hard for.... That is my fight. Me. When the moon gets full. When the vodka is singing along my veins....hell not just singing along my veins but actually when the entire bottle is sitting there singing along with me..... LOL! Though I laugh it's still true. tulsa

I think that's a great idea but it isn't in their interest to do so. Like blue edwards says about interops...just play VIP sports or Bet365. If you win three in a row, you'll end up being limited just like you are talking about! LOL!

Here's what you need to do for the good of the forum: Call a book or two you've used and ask them. Let us know what they say. tulsa

LOL well that just goes to show you that you can WIN and ALL in bet just as easy as Everyone thinks that those Always loose.

Get a partner to gamble with. This will really help with control. I have a friend that I gamble with, we bet a certain %/play, we set out our plays or those that we are going to follow ahead of time. We each have the ability to enter plays on our own but neither of us would ever dream of taking " a shot " outside of our normal betting %. It also allows you to have a life, as one can can cover when the other isn't around and vice versa. Nothing worse than missing plays or feeling trapped at you computer.

You know...that is about the smartest thing I've heard in quite some time!! That is a great idea. You know why? Well, several reasons, but I would never reach on a shared account. Never. I have too much respect for others (and obviously not enough for myself.) The reason I reach/chase/f'up occassionally on my own is that accountability is nil.

In short, what you are talking about is accountability with a consequence for breaking trust. The consequence is the lost trust of another person that has financial stake in the enterprise as well. Thanks for that great idea. tulsa
