Flying under the radar all year, the California Bears by defeating Arizona 75-66 are now tied with UCLA for the Pac 10 lead. Please allow this old alum to celebrate a bit.

Thank you.

They have been a cash machine for me of late...-3 at HOME vs this garbage Arizone team was just an easy pick...

Marquette +1 1/2 at HOME vs Gtown was a fucking joke! LOL

It has been a nice season OMT. They and Stanford really have turned around mediocre looking seasons with very solid play in conference. Powe should win conference player of the year in a landslide. Like the rest of the Pac 10 teams they don't have enough all-around talent to go anywhere in the tournament, but still must be fun after that lousy season you guys had last year.

I had Marquette too, but I don't know why you would say that the line was a joke? I got PK last night, but it opened at -1. The money moved the line to +1.5, but even that was probably a decent line. Either way, nice pick, good win. But I wouldn't bet anymore on it than I did tonight, if they were playing again tomorrow.

A joke in that they were home dogs, no way in hell they should have been anything other than -2 or so..

Anyway, it was a nice score!

Yes the season has been a pleasant surprise and the Bears keep getting better each week. I look for Stanford to beat the Wildcats on Sunday as well. The two Bay Area teams have unexpectedly moved up in the conference. Agree, neither the Bears or the Cardinal, if they get to the Big Dance, can do much damage, but the Pac 10 tournament should be entertaining anyway.

I honestly believe these guys are a sleeper final four team...seriously...
You can get them at over 100/1 if you really think they can make it to the final 4.
