NHL needs to go to the big ice sheet will never happen because would have to take out more rows of seats.

This is good hockey the way it is suppose to be played no clutch and grab and the big sheet of ice.

Fishy..hate to even admit this ..but watched the WOMENS hockey ystrday..US/Sweden and was great game won in shootout....US stunk it up in shootout but game was very exciting...I know Womens hockey like Womens Hopps is a oxymoroon but it was fun to watch!!!..say hi to the mermaid

I just hate using shootouts to decide games of this importance glad the NHL is doing away with it in the playoffs.

Fans seem to like the shootout..but am glad in Stanley cup they will be going to sudden death...they start to get real tired in sudden death...remember listening/watching a Stars game couple yrs ago that went into multiple OT

Its exciting but its a team game takes the team out of the game.

Be like the NFL having a Field goal contest to break ties or the NBA having a Free throw contest to break their ties.

Fish do you know if Gerber is using the same style pads as he does in the NHL or are they bigger not sure what olympic rules allow.

They are the same Reebok pads that he uses in the NHL, although he doesn't always wear white pads.

The box style, flat faced pads make them look larger than they really are. Especially when in white.

Those other 2 play for the Kloten Flyers not the philly Flyers
