It's kind of freaky to think that a culture that created a calendar way more accurate that any Western calendar just "decided" to stop counting days at the winter solstice in 2012.
And also the way anyone who doesn't tow the "party line" or doesn't think or believe like everyone else is labeled "nuts"

No Luca, I will label someone as nuts who proclaims the day of reckoning to a specific date, but then says, "I really don't know how to explain it."
