I'm watching the Zags for the first time since the Michigan State back in November. But I've watched their scores and always felt they were just barely winning against less than respectable competition. Right now, they're beating Loyola Marymount by 1. Put these guys in a top conference and they easily lose 5 or 6 games.
Just because you play in a weaker conference , that doesn't mean your overrated.Give me a fact that makes them overrated. I'm not sure if there overrated, maybe to Uconn their overrated but they almost beat them, They did beat Mich St. I think they can get to the Final Four so is that overrated ?kermit16 said:
I still have my futures wager on Morrison as Player of the Year and what he did today helps my case. As for Gonzaga, I think that they are a quality team that will definitly need the guards to step up in the tourney. Raivio hasnt played very as of late and Altidor-Cespedes is like the DOW Jones. Like they say every year, you need the guards in the tourney to play well, if not its see ya later. I think the 3 interior guys of Morrison, Batista and Mallon can play and bang with any team out there. Just my opinion but I feel the Dogs will make it to the Elite 8 at least.

They play to their competition level far too often and would lose by 10 or more to at least 6 teams that I can think of off the top of my head. They have very little beyond Morrison. Batista puts up nice stats but goes against weak competition that makes him look alot better than he is.
They are probably a 2nd or 3rd tier team. Not a 1st tier unfortunately.

morrison would be being compared to larry bird if he played on the east coast. his games end too late for sports center on the east coast so no one here gets to see how good he is. everything is jj reddick here. a great player can carry a team in the ncaa tourney. it has happened before. 8-10 from 3pt is great in practice with no one garding you and some were deep 3's.i think he is the best player in the country. when was the last time two white players were the two best coll players?
