OT -- HBO a Must Have These Days...

Their movies are no better than all the other pay channels but the shows are terrific. Led by the Sopranos and including such excellent programs as Curb Your Enthusiam, Six Feet Under, Deadwood, Entourage and Rome, HBO is a must have IMHO...

Personally I am addicted to the Sopranos and really enjoy Curb and Entourage..

I have to agree. Sopranos, Deadwood, and Rome are in my top 5 of must see shows (24 and Shield other 2).

I am really looking forward to the new series with the guy with 3 wives.

Curb was a little off this year, but I've been TiVoing Sopranos reruns every weeknight and watching them when the kids go to bed. There's nothing better on "live" TV for sure.

Entourage is excellent and has a way of making you check listings for more episodes. Larry David is IMO hilarious with his antics on Curb your Enthusiam.. I can't wait for The Sopranos new season premiering Sunday March 12th.. I love the Bill Mahr show also.

Entourage and Sopranos only shows I don't miss. One of these alone is worth the price of HBO for a year, even if they only run 13 episodes.
