No, I don't really think it was. I was down at the bars to watch the Iowa/Minny game and have never been so annoyed in my life. Talks about how the refs were paid off. When the guy from Minny got fouled out and didn't go out right away they were saying there should be a technical foul on Minny. These people were so retarded it was driving me insane! You guys ever run into such sports illiterate people at the bars that just drive you crazy?!
Did you know this though......One of the officials for the game was Paul Jannsen he lives in Orange City Iowa. I know this for a fact. He was one of my clinicians at a officiating camp a few years back. I have also officiated for his daughter who was in high school at Orange City. Soo....if you think about this real long and hard.....im sure if he was biased and since Iowa has a chance to win the Big 10 dont ya think he might have tweaked it that way if he could have? Just a thought, but you know what being a fellow official that I am there is only soo much that you can control during a basketball game.
