I was thinking of opening an account with Moneybookers. I noticed that Olympic and Pinnacle accept this for deposits. Do any other major sportsbooks accept them?

Has anyone here used Moneybookers? Do you think my credit card has a better chance of being accepted with them than Neteller?

You should be able to use your Credit Card on there, buddy told me he did it, but lot of cc companys just won't allow you to deposit overseas

I have used them several times, it works th same as WU

Uuuuhu, what?????
Moneybookers works in a way very similar to neteller, it's cheaper for books AND for p2p transfers. Only disadvantage is they have monthy limits(30k per 90 days or something)...
Once you get it working(certify the account) it's very good. In some ways, better than neteller.

I started trying to get signed up with Moneybookers. In trying to get my credit card validated, one thing I am seeing is a message saying payments of only up to $60 per every 60 days with the credit card are permitted. That seems like a pretty small limit. Am I understanding that correctly? Any way of getting that increased?

I have no clue, never used a CC with them, actually, never deposited any funds at all. I use it pretty much for moving funds around only.

Deposited by bank transfer not CC. Works fine once you get it set up but CS is almost non-existent.

Have a lot of merchants that ship real stuff besides books.

And the Paper trails just keep on keepin on.

We've heard it before and I don't give a damn.

However if I was a US citizen and placed bets out of state, by telephone, in contravention of the Wire Act I'd certainly be worried about W's "terrorist surveillance program" which snoops on citizen's out of country calls as well as this post with the keywords in quotes.

Tried to fund moneybookers with my cc. Not for a sports book mind you but to actually make a purchase. (REALLY) The cc company (MBNA) denied the charge, froze my card and called my house to verify my card had not been stolen. My wife calls me frantically in my hotel. I had to explain to her what I was doing and then she had to call MBNA to get the card unfrozen. They still would not credit moneybookers.
