For our math gurus, starting with a bankroll of $1,000 how many bets would it take you to become a millionaire betting 2% of your bankroll at 85%?

Is the $20 bet (2% of the bankroll) increased as we continue to win with this excellent system, or does it always stay at $20/bet? If not, I believe it's something like 64,641.2 bets assuming an average vig of -110.

Doing it in my head, about 350 bets. (100 bets won at 1.02 is about a 10 fold increase, so 300 bets is a 1000 fold increase, ~350 bets to hit 300 bets won)

But you could bet way more than 10% and get there in less than 100.

I got 722.246 using this equation (using a vig of -110). Did you include vig in your example, salain?

They're not saying they hit 85% winners. They are saying that they are giving out picks that have won 85% of the time. There are plenty of trends out there that can be found like this.

You can find a bunch of trends that give results of 85% or more, but they are all coincidental. They all involve crazy shit like "coming off a second loss after winning 3 straight road games in february during a leap year when the yankees won the world series" the Pistons are 11-3-1.

Using the "Kelly Criterion", stating with $100 and having 80% winners, I believe you would bet around 55% of your bankroll on every play, in around 1000 plays you would have a billion dollars in bankroll.

To be exact, starting with a $100 bankroll and having 85% winners. You should bet 68.5% of your bankroll on every bet. Your bankroll will grow, on average, by about 21.32% on each bet.
