Business writer James Stewart has some insight which could be of value to sports bettors. He occasionally reads some articles on a given subject and then tries to determine what is missing. Though this could be an interesting form of entertainment, an astute sports bettor could find value in making this a regular exercise.

Nice read. Some Great points.
The one that really stands out to me, was lines getting tighter and tighter as this time of the year in college basketball that is sooooo true.

Attempt to create a list of three or four unmentioned factors for each game you review and then check the list after the game is over.

Baseball:

Bullpen's strength of LATE.
Situational hitting vs lefty/righty.
Starting pitchers Bat Ave. against.

Situational Handicapping

As I was reading this article, my ZUB was getting Hard! As a few know about me, I LOVE situational analysis. My LARGEST plays are predicated on Look a Heads, Letdowns, conference sandwiches,Revenge, teams that have quit and other mental aspects to a game. These angles keep repeating themselves year after year. Please let college football get here soon for my own mental health.:nohead: :103631605 LT

I am still disappointed I missed playing against Fresno after their BRUTAL loss at USC. The following week Fresno was at Nevada as a 16 point fav and lost straight up! Now that is what I am talking about. That game should be the poster team that is coming off a CLOSE and Brutal loss that has no gas left in the tank the following week. LT

My mistake Coach was not hitting them continuously after the SC game! I got them the next game, but figured at some point they would regain their heads, but they pretty much mailed in the rest of the year.

Coach good point on the conference sandwich. Alan Boston pointed out that beauty a few weeks ago. All these made for TV non-conference basketball games in mid-conference season are a goldmine if you bet against a ranked team playing a non-ranked team, unless it is some form of rivalry or against a big-name program. The favored team couldn't care less about the game and have all kinds of trouble covering a big number.

WB , I finally unloaded against them in their bowl game. Tulsa was my last Rubberband Game of the season. I can't wait for College football! :thumbsup2: LT
