The Steelers aren't expected to spend $3-4 million a season to keep Antwaan Randle El.

A guy who threw a touchdown pass in the Super Bowl and helped his team get a Super Bowl win gets no love from his team? Why does this kind of stuff happen time after time?

The question should be "Why would they EVER give him 3-4 million per year?"

Above average punt returner....

Servicable 3rd WR at best...

You only see him on the highlights because of the gadget plays.

One thing I never understood.....why would anybody question the team that just won the superbowl? Sounds to me like they are making the right decisions.

He will still get 3-4 million from some other team. Just like Moose going to Chicago after helping the Panthers get to the Super Bowl.

Because they can take that 3-4 million, use it to sign some key linemen then spend a mid-round pick on a Randle-El clone.

First one that comes to mind is Marques Hagans.

Others that could fit the mold:
Marcus Vick
Reggie Ball
Michael Robinson
Reggie McNeal
Brett Meyer
Brad Smith
Darrell Hackney
Omar Jacobs
Chris Leak.

Go Green Doberman. Being from the south suburbs of Chicago where Randall is from I hope the cheap ass Bears sign him up. We will also take Rodney Harrison though we do not need him.

I hope they sign him. That being said, the teams that remain competitive year after year, are the ones who understand the salary cap, and as a result, make the tough choices.
