Does anyone ever regret that they started gambling?

In regards to myself, NO. In my younger years, gambling has gotten me out of some jams. Car payments, etc.

Thanks.

In the long run, I'd have to say yes. It's given me some fun moments over the years though. Hard to say if I could have made life just as fun on my own without doing it. In the end, you have to figure if you didn't gamble, you'd probably end up doing something else bad - drinking too much, drugs, eating too much, heavy smoking, etc. Hard to find anyone without a "vice" of somesort.

In my younger years as it is said, I GAMBLED OVER MY HEAD, now It's great entertainment while grinding out a decent profit. I'm still paying for COMCHECKS taken at the Hacienda back in '91.

ABSOLUETLY NOT.........and in fact thank my lucky stars everyday that I was able to learn at an early age just how enjoyable and profitable gambling is.

Cannot think of to many things that I would rather do all day than gamble.

you just have to be smart and not go that direction

In a one word answer.......YES.....But thats only when i loose a bet. If your winning its Great, but if you are looseing its Awful !!!
If you are playing to pay the rent or buy groceries it does matter.

Most here are not playing for those things, but try it sometime an lets see how you like it that way.

my sons Grandmother bought him this electronic poker thing and they have been playing/teaching him how to play poker and other card games. "Oh he's brilliant, so smart , you should see him on that thing, he loves it." stfu. The kids 7. He shouldn't be taught that at such an age. Freaking morons. Sucks.

If I had to do it all over again, and I'm talking 37 years of serious gambling, I'd NEVER want to go through all the bumps and lumps that I had to take before becoming a successful gambler. I'd highly recommend that NO ONE ever gets involved with gambling....and I'm even talking pleasure gambling. You just never know when playing for fun will become an addiction!

When I first started sports gambling, I wish that I had someone to tell me exactly what I'm going to tell a newbie or loser right here. BET THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT YOU THINK YOU SHOULD BET!!! That should make you a winner!
