DelSol, is it out of line to ask you what kind of product/service you offer over the phone? just curious
Not at all Wolfie_cr.
I make my living by making 300 calls a day 6 days a week for a real estate team.
I call fsbo (for sale by owners)
I call cancelled and expired listings
I call people to reschedule appointments or to help my agents close a deal after meeting with a client.
I also do follow up calls for buyers who contact us via a toll free number.
I also make several recorded messages a week for our properities. My style is a mix of Michael Buffer and mr. movie phone.
Last year we sold over 30 million in real estate.(it was our first year, no joke)
People who are in the business ask how we are so successful. I do not want to outright say it, but they are lazy motherfuck^%s who are too lazy to make a call or do not have the balls enough to make a call.
It isn't rocket science, just plain old hard work and good work ethics.
I am agressive, yet professional. I call to close on every call I make. I have studied rhetoric and public speaking for many years and can use those skills to land 9% of my calls. Trust me, 9% is a big number when you put the math to it.
Telemarketing sucks, I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. But, I make a fat living and can work from anywhere.
I am also willing to give any advice, tips or skills to anyone on this fourm who needs assistance in making cold calls. It can be done if done correctly.
Thanks for your interest.
