Mine is 30 mins, and I get jack shit. $30 a week and a free room, for $500+ per hand.

What a joke.

I live about 2 hours from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in CT. Mailings from each have varied greatly here and there over my years in the area. Obviously as my betting average and visit frequency went up, I got more of them and less as I became more inactive.

Comps vary a lot, and the more networking you do with different hosts the better they will serve you. The $15-40 average bet range you get $5-10 coupons and maybe a small tournament invite of somesort if you show up really frequently. $50-75 range starts getting better comps, including access to the lower level private lounges, some good invites will come in the mail but generally only for weekdays. $100-150 range starts seeing some more elite types of invites like cash giveaway parties, preference in even getting a room at the place on busy weekend, etc. $200-300 average range with 1-2 visits a month is pretty solid gold at that point - all the high level private lounges, all kinds of great parties, shows, nicer rooms if you want to spend the points, etc.

Overall, I was happy with a lot of the experiences I had at these casinos. Obviously casinos in Vegas or even AC can stretch your comp value further since there's more competition. It's best to try out a variety of places and find your niche.

Yes, it is Argosy, fvcking pricks. They can do this because they are in the prime location. If cincy would get their head out their ass they could sink that shit pot of a casino, smoke infested piece of shit.

The other night a buddy and i were there. I was playing between $400-$700 per hand. At the end of my play, the host acted as if I should be thankful she comped me transportation, I was like WTF?!?!?

We went to Belterra and raised some hell, wondering what kind of mailers I get from them.

Vegas locals are the best for coupons. I got some free buffets and match plays from Fiesta, which I hardly go to. We went and had the buffet there and I figured to prove I gambled when I was there, I put $1 into a video blackjack machine. Played 25 cents a hand until it was gone, maybe 7 hands worth of play. Sure enough I got even more coupons the next month. Stations is about the same, just have to put your card in and play 3 hands of VP or BJ and you will stay on their mailing list. Sam's Town isn't as good, but its too far to go over there anyways, but they send out stuff every few months as well.

Hah, I don't think the Del Rey needs to send out mailers to attract customers there.
