Had a local get arrested once. He was out settleing up with the players on tuesday and i was on the afternoon route. The police surrounded him and about 4 others makers while they were haveing lunch right down the street from me.
When i heard about it, i thought well there goes my 3250. That evening some lady called my number and said Meet the Blonde in the White Caddy at the Bowling Alley parking lot at 8 pm and hung up.
I went to the Bowling Alley parking lot it was FULL of cars, lady drives up, gets out walks over and handed me my package an said DONT call us, we will call you!
About a week later he calls an says here the numbers and i still talk to him about every day!

Like there are good offshore sportsbook, there are many great local guys. I find many locals give out way to much credit, to guys that have no way paid.
Sometimes that comes and bites him in the ass, some small fry has a hugh week, and another rolls over.
I alway think of it as..... I AM giving the local credit, when I playing...and how much can he afford to pay if I win, and play within those limits.

when Tocchet and company got busted - my guy gives me a call that day and leaves a meesage for me to call him. i had a GREAT week and am thinking he is gonna tell me i am somehow tied into all this and i can't get paid. luckily it was about something else. in my situation not sure this could happen - because of layers of insulation in the whole thing - but if he stiffs - he stiffs - not much i can do about it - except hope it is the week i get killed and owe him a lot of $$$$$$$$
