So which is better Treo650 or Sidekick?

I've never successfully pulled off a bet with my TREO 650. Most websites, including some of the RX pages, are too large for its feeble little mind to handle. It should be possible though, it's just a graphics/memory shortage problem. Not sure about the new 700, maybe it's better.

Other than a 2x2 screen, most websites are no problem on the 650. Unable to wager at Sky, but do so at Oly almost daily.

I know what you mean, the Blazer works but takes forever because it tries to download every color background and other meaningless crap. Go and download this alternate browser I use, its called nWeb at www.novarra.com. It handles the Rx like a charm when you have it on "no images". It still has problems with the Pinnacle site, but otherwise am able to bet on any other site except for the ones that require a normal browser like Canbet, Mansion or Matchbook.

If you want to just bet, I would go with the Sidekick. Plus it's easier to read the RX on the Sidekick than the Treo.

For some reason in which I've discussed here before, I can't log onto Pinny with my Treo. I had no problem with the Sidekick. It was easy to read also.

I've had both and would use the Sidekick over the Treo for sports betting.

I have Treo 650, and BetCRIS has a software for it.

I place my bets easily on my 650, and it lets you check the pending wagers and history as well.

You can also get OPERA Mini browser for it, and most sites work fine on that.

I have had the Sidekick for over a month now and its the best thing I have used so far. Before thsi I had the PocketPC and it sucked. Could never place down parlays from multi sports via 5dimes with the PocketPC but the sidekick is easy to use and its pretty quick to load pages...but keep in mind pages take a while to load. And the best thing is that I cant use the casino w/ my phone and I dont have to talk to anyone at my books anyomore. I can deposit, wager , and WD without haveing to talk to someone....Priceless!!
