Anyone else really like the Barry Bonds Under 34.5 HRs prop at Pinnacle?

The combination of age and injuries probably put this under the number. He easily could go on the DL for 2-3 months because of injury. Plus no juice either. Thinking about playing it for the max.

It requires a minimum of 80 games to cash I believe, which hurts it

I will take the over. The 80 game min protects the injury part. Yesterday in practive he hit 2 500 foot bombs.

Im getting tired of everyone thinking that steriods is the lone cause for Barrys success. He is simply the greatest hitter in the history of baseball period....... He came out of nowhere last season with no practice or spring trainning and hit 5 homers in 12 games. thats about a 65 homer pace spread out over 162.

I also think that Barry will have more pitches to hit this season because MLB is going to want him to prove himself again. By the time thay figure out that hes back he will be off to another great start.

The only way that play goes under is if he plays between 80-110 games. Anything more or less than that is either a win or no action.

Good points chop. I have a feeling he breaks down the second half. Going to take the under for average size wager.

Over

Got to feel they find a way to protect him somehow and save the knees. I would have to take a shot at the over if doing anything. Should be interesting to see how the year unfolds for the "Chubby One".

More reasoning....

First off, it is just about certain he won't play and day after night games. No Sunday games. 6 months a year times 4 Sunday games. 24 games missed. Say another additional 15 day after night games. 39 games missed right there. Say conservatively 1 15 day stint on the DL.

That is 54 games missed. Conservatively again..say he only missed 45. So he playes in 117 games. He needs to hit 35 home runs in 117 games. One every 3.3 games. I say he can't do it.
