I tried it for the first time yesterday, and realized today it wasn't accepted.

I wanted St. Joes -14 +103....so Richmond +14 -103 was offered.

I put this in about 11:15 am and then didn't check my computer till later as i was out of the house.

The offer was never accepted.

Why is this??

--Because nobody bet Richmond in the last 45 min before tip?

--Because i only offered it for $50 and everyone who bet Richmond bet it for more or less (does the person who accepts my offer have to accept for the exact amount i'm offering?)

--Or did i mess up in some way?

No you did not mess it up - you did it correctly. Just nobody took your offer

How often and easily are offers accepted?

Is it mainly because i made an offer on a pretty unpopular game? Only a little bit before the game?

What about the amount i offered? If someone who wanted to bet $300 on the game...would 50 of his 300 be to accept my offer? or would his full 300 go to another offer?

college is hard, unless its a big game. nba is not as hard, but still not easy to get offers accepted.

do most people usually offer +100, +101, +102

and take -100, -101, -102

or the other way around?
i have been offering +100, +101, +102 and stil have a hard time getting bites.

If you were offering the best price then you would take $50 of his $300 bet.

You have to watch for handicap changes. If the line moves 0.5 points your offer should still be there but not on the main page as you have to click on "point spread".

If your offer is no better than elsewhere on the net you are unlikely to get action.
