Financially, emotionally and physically?

Some never become independent, and always use someone, or something(substance) as a crutch.

:)

Been "independent" if you put it that way for several years....but, will I move out of my parents home untill I am a millionaire?

Hell naw!

How silly do you think I am? :)

I'm 22, making a nice living gambling,...don't have to pay rent...don't have to pay for food, don't have to pay for electricity....mom's pays my tuition (I want to be a surgeon one day).

I do have 2 kids though, but, it's not that hard, considering I don't have the same bills as someone who lives on their own has to pay.

In this world, a person should not move out untill they are atleast in their late 20s....maybe 28...and established. Today, society has kids thinking they need to grow up at 19, and get an apt. by the time they're 20. lol. Why?

Bad move if you ask me....this is a tough world. Anybody can mentally believe they are prepared to be on their own at any age...hey, I though I could at 16. lol, but....was wrong. Fight it on your own when you are fully prepared physically AND mentally. That's the only way you'll be completely happy. Who cares how uncomfortable it may get at home as you get older (Especially if you have loving parents that would let you live at home your whole life). Is pride and comfort going to feed you every day? And keep your house warm? And the lights on?.......not in this reality. Ofcourse not everybody's family is fortunate, and not everybody has parents who can afford to do everything....but, I'm 100% sure, that sticking it out with your parents, untill you can 900% stick it out for yourself, is much better.

Go "out there", when you are at a level, where bills are so unoticeable, that, you don't even "remember" paying your rent and all your bills 6 months in advance, .....but you did. lol.

Lived with mom and dad till I was 30. Then have a baby girl and bought my own house 1/2 a mile away from parents. I love my parents very much and I go to see them every other days.

Today things are not the same I see a lot of people thinking 18 is the age to get the fuk out and move on. Mom and Dad at the age of 70 or 80 and put the old farts in a nursing home. Not me I can't do that to my parents.

well that's just me others may have different oppinions.

August 2000.

The day I entered Costa Rica, my family cut off my trust account. They were not going to "pay for fun", as they said.

Better to be free than under rules that govern your life.
