gutter, what you are saying isnt even making sense....You say you have the money to cover the nsf fees on each....well at most banks, the nsf fees are 30.00 each now....if u have 120.00 in there, then u can take care of 2 of them, so do that.....notify the other 2, that you are changing banks, and will need just until you get your first check to pay on them...
Alot of these places will let you roll the checks over, or just pay the interest, for at least 3 payments, then you have to pay off balance....but letting them all 4 bounce, is only gonna get you in the hole further, as you will be losing 120.00 or more, FOR NOTHING....at least if you pay on 2 of them, you will only have 2 nsf charges, and 2 places wont be so upset.....they are much more willing to work with you, if YOU CONTACT THEM, rather than them having to come LOOK FOR YOU...
And yes, BANKS WILL take you to court....i still get letters addressed to my dad, from old national bank, over some 180.00, and he has been dead for 5 years...letters from a lawyer's office...I have told them he is dead, they still think he might pay though......
And these check places are worse than the banks, they can sue and get "triple" the face value of the check, and they will.......
Pay what you can, and talk to them, work with them.....before its too late, buddy..
