I see this sometimes....just dont understand why books do it...

For example tomorrow the south carolina line is -1(-112) and the south carolina ML is -110


Arent we smart enough to take the ML, is there any logic behind this?

well the difference is that if S.C. wins by one, you get a push on the -1 wager, whereas you cash the ML ticket if they win by one...

lazy line manager moves the spread , forgets about the ML. Nothing clever happening.

wont last. pinny lines go by computer overnight. no one hit the moneyline.
