Any info on this out there for the upcoming season? I've looked at MLB.com and all the affiliates, all of which still have information regarding last years games. Nothing related to 2006 yet.

This will be my first season purchasing the package. I'm more than excited that there is a high chance that they will have more of games in HD than last year (from what I've read).

Nothing better than coming home on a summer afternoon and choosing from 10 different games to relax to as sun sets!

Anyone know something I don't? Thanks!:howdy:

you can get it with digital cable. that's what I'm planning on doing. I believe a season is around 150 dollars, and once season starts it goes up to about 180

I have to say that my experience with MLB.TV which is designed for the home computer user has been fantastic over the two years I've signed up with it.

I've got a steady broadband connection so I've had good quality through the seasons. I read today where MLB is releasing a new custom media player to coexist with the MLB.TV package this year. Allowing you to watch several games at once and not be forced to switch the current game and wait for loading of another.

I'm sure quality will be increased too.

I just want some HD games. I'm hooked.

This will be my third consecutive year with the extra inning pkg...I really can't see anyone who is serious about betting bases, not having this pkg. I think there is an early bird pkg for around 150$, then the price goes up a week or two into the season!! It truely is worth every cent imo!! I live in Comcast country and I know it get offered towards the end of spring training.

Guys, I need help.
What is up with MLB.TV automatically renewing your subscription. I chose to cancel before the 2005 playoffs started, yet they billed me for the playoffs. I called them, and it said they were closed for the offseason. So I emailed them and requested to cancel my subscription, and they didn't do anything. Then they billed me 9.99$ for the offseason, I emailed them a few times, I said take me off your list, cancel my subscription, whatever, don't charge me anymore, and to no avail.

Right now , I just received an email telling me I am on MLB.TV automatic renewal for the 2006 season, I emailed them, and I doubt anything will happen.

Anyone can help out?? I need to cancel this as I got satellite dish and will be getting extra innings package.

Just call your credit card company and request a chargeback.

Yea it wasn't that I didn't think that MLB.TV was up to par or anything, it was just that after a week or two I never used it. Too much of a hassle on my computer. I spend more time on the computer now though so maybe it would be worth it. It did bother me that you could only watch one game at once and it took a minute to switch. Quality was decent.

I got it for free one year in a deal with MSN premium subscription or somethin like that. If I can find something like that this year I would love to get it.

Make sure you know about the blackouts. You may be looking at a blank screen when you get home from work.

IF YOU HAVE DSL OR CABLE MODEM WITH YOUR COMPUTERI SUGGEST BUY ON THE COMP FOR 9.995 OR 12.95. YOU GET JUST ABOUT EVERY GAME ON THE SCHEDULE WHERE DIRECT TV DOESNT OFFER EVERYGAME BEING PLAYED EVERY NIGHT. CAUSE MLB.TV CAN GET GAMES THAT ARE ON LOCAL TV NETWORKS WHERE AS DIRECT TV ONLY PULLS FROM THE REGIONAL SPORTS CHANNELS BIG DIFFERENCE IN SCHEDULING SO IF YOU DOT MIND A GRAINIER PIC THEN MLB.TV IS BEST TO AT LEAST VIEW THE GAME. DIRECT TV WILL LIMIT YOU. PLUS THE EXPENSE IS LESS ON MLB.TV HOPE THIS HELPS

Thanks, but that's not what I'm looking for. I've had MLB.TV for a couple years now. I have no problem with being blacked out on Wednesday Nights for ESPN - I live in a market where there are no MLB teams in the state, and the only blackouts occur for SF Giants games, but they are usually televised anyways. I also don't have Direct TV and instead will be buying the package via digital/HD cable. More than likely I'll have both this season.
