MURDERBALL shatters every stereotype you've ever had about what it's like to be handicapped. It's the story of three quadriplegics who get into armored wheelchairs to play the no-holds-barred, violent game of wheelchair rugby. The three are Joe Soares, who was crippled by childhood polio; Mark Zupan, who was disabled after a drunken driving accident; and Keith Cavill, who was injured in a motocross mishap. Cameras follow the men into the locker rooms, arenas, bedrooms, hospitals, and hotels where they live and play, showing how they rebuilt their lives and refused to give in to self-pity even after their bodies were crushed.

by the way guys this will win and you can get it at +800 or better out there.

It will upset the Penguin show fopr best documentry

reason is anyone who votes on this category must see all 5 films and see them in the theature. This means only a handful of people vote and the actual best film wins (not the most popular film to the public). so as good as the Penguin movie was in terms of popularity it very well might not win this and at 8-1 or better this murderball is a great play...

I'd rather bet on a dog like Murderball than bet on a huge 15/1 ON favourite like March of the Penguins but although yes, voters have to have seen all five films (no guarantee) they will probably vote for Penguins.

I've got the Murderball DVD in front of me. It's terrific fun but ever so slight.

MURDERBALL-IN-A-PARAGRAPH SPOILERS: Canada beats USA in World Championship, show the US legend now coaching Canada as the bad guy, show how the USA players happened to be handicapped, show basics of wheelchair rugby, funny bit of how handicapped people have sex, USA beat Canada to become number one seed for Olympics, Canada beat USA in Olympic semi-final, film ends with off-the-screen what-happened-to-them-next snapshots.

Throw some money on Murderball or even Darwin's Nightmare just for fun but I wouldn't hit it heavy. Penguins should win but I wouldn't be surprised if there's an upset.

....surely all the favourites won't win!? With 4 and a half days to go, there will surely be movements in the betting lines. Somebody out there always knows.

The problem with Murderball is most those guys come off as tremendous azzholes, irregardless of whether or not they are handicapped.

Penguins are just cute. Penguins at -1500 is steep juice, but a mortal lock.
