jockeys/drivers $ bribe #'s

I spoke with a few former horse trainers over the past few years and I have come to the conclusion regarding the amounts of loot it will take to get a horse "off the board".....Small tbred and harness tracks $300......large harness and tbred tracks $500-1000......sounds incredible but its all business....In many cases the trainer will just flat out tell the jock/driver he would like to "race easy today...we'll "test" him next week..In other words stiff today ..we go next time"..The jock/driver gets the picture....Famous move in harness racing..with 2/5 ....1/5 shot..Drive for second and cash the exacta for $600..straight..may take 4 or 5 bets @3k total..cash for 8k- 12k....There were several drivers in NY that made their living this way...None the wiser...lol.

Happens up here at Hazel Park in MI all the time. A friend and I got banned from there about 10 years ago in the good old days. We yellled at a driver and luaghed at them as they tried to fix a race for how they wanted it to finish. It was the worst we had ever seen they were trying to stop thier horses and wait till another horsed past them. Well as it turns out the horse they were waiting for broke stride about 3 lengths from the finish. LMAO and some putz from the back won the race. The anger on all the drivers faces was funny so we were insulting them and a driver called out my buddy. Next thing I knew He's jumps over the fence and I followed like an idiot. LOL we got escorted to the security office pics taken and told not to come back. LMAO we went back within a week. God this brings back some great memories.

i have been in many yelling matches with the drivers at hazel,the chute that they have there gives great access to the drivers as they come off the track,many years ago d.r. ackerman took a swing at me with his whip! :bitch:

why Northfield??

why would I be handicapping Northfield tonite?....can u handicap Northfield?? I thought they threw out the top 3 drivers 1 1/2 yrs ago......for race fixing.....FBI called it"tampering with a sporting event"....Records on file with US Dept of Justice..........PLeaded "Nolo Contendre"...
