I already put huge on Korea at -105 about 4 hours ago. It was funny that Korea was the underdog to Taipei (which was -120 hours ago). Now Korea is at around -160. But i still think there is so much value in korea even at this price. Checked out their preliminary match with Lotte (who was the champ of the japanese league) and it was quite convincing victory for Korea.

Besides, I heard from some who are following each team and they say Korea will thrash Taipei in this first match of the tournament. So i decided to put some more and the bet is:

Korea (-160 now)...

If there is anyone who knows more info on this match, please share with us.

oh my god, where did you find that? if i were you, i would go hugh on japan (i would, but to be on the safe side, you better put medium bet on it) .

It looks like japan will win at least by 7-8. But i expect double digit win for japan.
Japanese captain says they will play big balls, not japanese typical small ball game. It is partly due to the taipei-korea game and also korean's preliminary game with japanese champ (korea won both). So Japan wants to play bigball preparing for the match with koreans...

That's why i would say they will score a lot before 5th innings. For pitching, i don't think china will score more than 1 (max 2) from japanese starting pitchers....

Let me know which book has the handicap game.

You know any places offering wagering on that game? Don't think Pinnacle has anything up, greek is all I could find...Would like to compare odds at places..

I know betfair offers ML line on japan and china but japan is at now 1.02 (which is hardly any value).
Betsafe.com offers Japan at 1.05
Centrebet has japan at 1.08 (this is really nice if you have a huge bankroll)

Other than that, betcris with japan -3.5 (-220).
Paddypowder has japan-3.5 (-175) -----------------> best value

I would either go with 1.08 ML or -3.5(-175) handicap line.

Chris, don't bet more than you can afford to lose. Think of this as one of nice wagers with hugh value.

I wagered medium on korea with -2.5 handicap but now it looks like line dropped significantly. If i have to choose on -4.5 line, i will still go with koreans with small wager.
