I agree. I have been involved with offshore books for five years and last year was the first year I ever got involved with the online casinos or poker - believe me, it is a mistake. And online poker is not much better either.
It started being tempting to use because occasionally I would find myself a little short from a bet I wanted to make or whatever. Rather than re-upping, why not play a few hands of blackjack or some online poker and get what I needed. It usually worked out alright and if it didn't I wouldn't lose a whole lot generally.
But it grew to be a larger problem later on. Like nights where I'd go 0-4 with basketball and be on "tilt" so to speak trying to get some money back. Sitting here all night chasing with online casinos and poker, losing money, having to be at work in an hour with no sleep, and a nearly empty account to show for it.
Win or lose, online casinos and poker bring out the worst in you as a gambler. Even the most disciplined of gamblers can fall off the wagon in a big hurry.
