I was a big fan of it while it was on TV...it had a very devoted following (biggest that I've seen besides Invader Zim) which is why they were able to make it into a movie. Couldn't agree with you more re: the shows fox has cancelled, still curious what the hell John Doe was.
The 2 big reasons for failure...1) for some reason fox's audience won't support sci fi shows and 2) It was paired with "Fastlane".
