Why so much hype about betting the Ncaa tournament?

if anything it is a let down, from a betting standpoint. A typical Weds/Sat has way more opps than this day.
After the first 2 days almost becomes sad. I don't care for the tournament from a betting standpoint at all.

Man its just March Madness. Celebrate , take off or call out from work. Watch the matchups of teams who would normally never face each other & the thrill of watching for the inevitable UPSET.

Thurs & Friday alone is worth it. Office Pools etc.

Kinda like SuperBowl. Its one game compared to 8-10 on a normal Sunday, but it still is a special betting event.

I placed 45 wagers yesterday (sat). To me that is an action packed day.
I guess there is alot more "square action" giving value to dogs.

Go down to Vegas and watch your action at the Mirage, Caesars or any other big Sportsbook and you'll be singing a different tune. Its the best betting event of the year as far as I'm concerned.

I'm usually around 100 plays or so on a Sat but the games in the tournament mean so much more then a everyday sat. There is a extra vibe to tournament games

It's just not from a gambling standpoint. These kids play the whole season for this one moment. Storys like Bucknell Holy Cross etc... I can still remember vividly. History can be made in the tournament even if you dont win it all.

A wager like this from WSEX should make the tournament interesting.

I think a lot of people have one of their first tastes of sports gambling at their office pool for March Madness.
