Who gets the shaft? I'm thinking Creighton may, which isn't necessarily a bad call. They are amazing when in front of 15,000 home court fans, but mediocre on the road. If they do get in, I just don't see them making much noise.

Tough call with everyone in that conference, but at least they are getting some national respect (Big time front page(sports) story on the MVC in USAToday last Friday).

In a fair and balanced world Missxouri Valley Conference is a one or two bid conference. Look at their records-I see padded schedules with zero out of conference wins against majors. They can't beat the DePauls or Arkansas' of the mediocre major conferences. They, like so much of college basketball are a product of espn hype.

I agree. The most over hyped lack of offensive talent conference I've ever seen. However, i believe one of the MVC teams beat Depaul.

You need to keep in mind that the big conference schools refuse to play the mid-majors in a home-and-home series because it isn't beneficiary to them...you can bet your ass that teams like Creighton would play a home-and-home with Duke any day...they just don't get the opportunities.

Agreed. The Terps have to beat GT and BC to feel at least decent about their chances.

I dont know about zero wins...UNI does have two very quality out of conference wins this year. Iowa at home and @ LSU. Also Wichita St went into Champagne and lost by only 1 point to Illinois.

wichita game was on neutral court. They actually hit a 60 footer at buzzer that was a half second late.
