I was in last weeks issue in a letter to Rick Rielly about the Hawks article that he wrote. It supprised me since my hawks lost, but they cut out most of it, esspecially the part where I told him he would eat his words.....haha, but Ricks stuff is great!

I will be reading the entire magazine as I do every week.

I thought you were talking about the swimsuit issue.

This is interesting too, however...

And to think at one time baseball was America favorite pastime !
But then again nothing stays the same forever!

Makes one try to remember Mickey Mantle and Roger Marris, Sandy Kofax, Don Drysdale, Yogi Berra, Jonny Bench!
Pete Rose!!

There are thousands that would have their stats thrown out...I think it is more common to take steroids than it is not to these days.

Why not Paul Tagliabore, he struts around professing his innocence while NFL players have grown by 50 to 100 lbs under his watch. The NFL's drug policy may be the biggest joke of all sports. I wouldn't be surprised if the league knowingly turned a blind eye to positives.

Like I said before, if Bonds had any sense of honor at all in his being, he would retire before he passes the guy who hit 756 HR's at 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed 180 lbs..

I can't get over how ESPN kisses Bonds ass.

Great read there. With all the talk about players on the juice I have a feeling we are going to see quite a few early retirements of huge :dancefool stars in the next couple years. For starters look at Brett Boone who was no doubt on steriods. He went from one of the best 2nd basemen to nothing and retired in a span of a couple of years. I know that we will see numbers continue to dwindle, and the players who are used to the RBI"S HR"S etc won't be able to handle the ego let down that they encounter without steriods.

I hope the hype/media on this book forces Bonds out of MLB forever. He will fake an injury and retire a coward though
