That deal with the soccer team in particular for millions. They had banner here for awhile.

The exchange concept should work much better than it does.

Betbug should be great for big players, but you never hear them mentioned. Mansion appears to be here to stay, but offers too often don't fill, in particular early offers.

These exchanges need to advertise more effectively, they could literally take over the USA market which lacks a Betfair that the Euro players have.

You would think these exchanges are the future...it really is a better business model...anyone not giving an exchange a shot needs to!

Mansion got a bad rap on the forum, really a shame.

Mansion has had zero payment problems, steadily improving rating at SBR ( B+ now, I believe). Sad that so few use them.

i've been wanting to get my feet wet and find out what this exchange business is all about so i think with baseball coming im going to send both mansion and matchbook a small deposit (cause neither offers bonus, right?) and get a feel for it. sound like a good plan? thank you in advance for any input you can offer.

Both have offered bonuses before, can't say what they'll do next, Mansion has generous casino bonuses, but I've never played in their casino. I consider both as safe as any book out there... good plan !

Matchbook is WSEX backed, Mansion appears nearly as solid as Pinny, CRIS,etc. Maybe even more so ?

Mansion has dropped the ball big time in many ways when it comes to marketing. I think they have run off 2 sets of marketing companies/employees if I am not mistaken. Their ROI for marketing to this point is laughable. Any other start up would have folded.

I personally believe their expenses eat up any profits at this point, but the backing is enormous, and they won't stiff anybody if they ever fold.

Exactly. Their money is deep. That has never been in question.

But they are idiots when it comes to marketing (to be blunt).

I've been having great success recently getting offers filled, but I rarely bet in the same direction as the money.

I would never have heard of mansion if it wasn't for this forum. I've been insanely happy with them, especially now that I took someone's recommendation and stopped using IE to load their site. I rather hope they get their marketing plan on the ball...not sure if they will, but at least they recognize it's a problem and are willing to spend dough to fix it. Too bad this'll take away all of those low limit soccer scalps :)

I question the soccer deal, market at this point seems to be US folks, Your average US sports fan/ bettor couldn't name a single Euro soccer player that's active. Mansion should go after US players, not Euro players with access to Betfair ! Target what Betfair can't ( or wont).

The exchanges should knock out almost every book in time, if Goodlatte doesn't. Even giants like CRIS must be hugely dependant on USA business. The little upstarts are very vulnerable, as they book to USA customer base and once you go thru the big bonuses... they have nothing left !

Big time downsizing of number of books is certain, these 100/100 bonus places can't retain their customers, for good reasons.

The alternative is to start a place like Nojuice to compete with the already eatablished places like Pinny, Trojan ( to an extant), Cascade, HW, Canbet, etc. I hope NJ has a few million behind them, I play there, but they scare me. They've paid me a lot to date.

no chance in Hell of that, not that many traditional books even offer team totals.

What do you use to load the site?

firefox. with IE it keeps on loading and reloading each little piece of their interface...real pain to work with. Firefox makes it a ton better, if not exactly great.
