99-85 Final!

The Spurs DO NOT want to face the Clippers in the 1st round of the playoffs. They better hope they don't let Dallas catch them.

Big win in a statement game for the Clips!!!

It means Dallas is now tied with the Spurs...and also shows the Clippers they can play with anyone on their home floor. To say this was a meaningless game is ignorant. With the win, this would be the first round matchup.

The Clippers also lost in OT at San Antonio earlier this season.

Trust me...the Spurs do not want to be stuck with this match up in the 1st round.

Amare took him to school almost every game last year, so Brand's hold on that spot might be a little short in duration. Besides where did it get the Suns? I am sure the Spurs don't want to play the Clips in round one, but who does?

Suns are going to run the Spurs into the ground in the desert on Thursday night. Can't wait to see the line when it comes out tomorrow night.

I don't think anyone wants to play the Clippers in Round 1...but I would much rather play San Antonio than Dallas. We have much better matchups with them by position.

As far as Amare, you are probably right. But you can't ever predict how someone's body will react after that type of surgery. His entire game was built around his incredible athleticism. Hopefully he will get all of that back and have an injury free career. But Brand has been doing this for years now and finally has a supporting cast. 25/10 with 3 blocks a game is rock solid. Duncan's numbers are dropping.

If Nash isn't playing might be tough. Don't want to see Barbosa and House trying to go head-to-head with Parker. Then again the over might be the easiest bet around, with Barbosa in that spot and the Spurs willingness to play up-tempo with the Suns this could be a game in the 220s.

Good point WildBill. However the Suns did well against New Orleans in the 4th without Nash. I realize the Spurs will present more of a challenge though.

Sometimes an injury skews the line too much one way.

I don't know about the line, might not be a bad bet depending on the line, but your comment about running the Spurs into the ground may not be true. Suns are playing well, but it has been mostly very winnable games except for the win in Big D.

I was also taking into account that the Spurs will be playing their 3rd road game in 4 days.

You, being a Suns fan, must know how well the Suns have played since the All-Star game. But it's not just winnable games, it's the way they've been winning. With the exception of Orlando, they have completely dismantled teams. Orlando was able to run with the Suns.

San Antonio is a team like Dallas, one that cannot run with the Suns.

The Spurs do run with the Suns, go look at the recent matchups. They beat them at it sometimes too. Don't underestimate the Spurs willingness to run in this matchup because they know the Suns will give up a number of easy baskets if they get out on the break.

It's always good to have some added input on the Suns from someone else who knows the team. In previous games between these 2 teams the scores were 91-86 Suns and 97-91 Spurs. I feel the Spurs dictated the tempo in these games. The Suns have been able to run since the All-Star game averaging over 110 points in their last 5 games and I believe they will use this to their advantage Thursday night by taking advantage of the Spurs road schedule.

Relax dude. Spurs will spank you Clippers in the play off if they get the chance. Duncan is playing hurt that's why his numbers are so low.

Wow Clip you are acting foolish. Duncan is way better than brand ever dreamed of being. He is just going through the motions on his bad wheel until playoff time. No chance in hell the Clippers could beat SA in a playoff serious. To say that they don't want any piece of them is ridiculous. A very mediocre Clipper Club to be sure.

Clippers also took them to OT in San Antonio this year...the Spurs do not match up well with the Clippers. It is the last team they would have an easy time with come playoff time.

Someone suggest we lose some games this month to be in a better playoff spot. Can't see that.

Was last night Ross's first game back? I missed the last two games.
